 Carre St Honorine School is located in the north of Paris (20 km) and was built in 1975. It is frequented by 530 students.

40 teachers from different generations work here and bring their everyday contribution to the success and the fulfillment of each student coming from different cultural backgrounds, from poor to affluent families.

Our school had the opportunity to benefit from different estructuring programs of its buildings and classrooms which have been renewed recently. It has also benefited from equipment ( Digital White Boards with Internet connection in each classroom ; 2computer equipped technology rooms; a big multi-activity conference room; a theater stage ...)

In order to avoid gaps and discrepancies between new coming students from primary schools and students leaving our school tohigh schools, we work hand in hand with teachers, headmasters and inspectors of primary schools and high schools of our district.

We meet frequently and organize workshops on how we work and what subjects so as to improve our teaching and remedy to each other's needs by sharing our goals and expectations to work more efficiently.

Special study hours are scheduled on each student's timetable in case he encounters difficulties. He can then participate to a small group class where help is brought according to the student's specific problems. We constantly organize meetings with parents which aim at creating a climate of confidence.

Parents are given special codes and e-mail addresses so as to facilitate communication with the administration and the teachers.

They have easy and instant access to their children's absence, lateness, detention, work done at school, work to be done at home.

Many cultural day outs are organized thanks to many partnerships with the Mediatheque, The Cinema, the Cultural Center, The Theater of Cergy Pontoise,The Police, the Town Council, the Association of the Protection of Children. We visit them or they make interventions in our school.

Working in partnership with different countries of the European Community will help our students to acquire a real vision and a better understanding of their neighbors, enabling them to build a peaceful and harmonious future life.
