Students will be hosted by families, in Taverny.
Activities Required from France:
- Badges, magnets, stickers against discrimination.
- Creating a mural on a wall in our school by students participating in the project.
- Creation of the webpage.
- Meetings and Conferences on cultural minorities living in Taverny
- Testimonies from our students on their parents' roots. ( Algeria, Congo, Reunion Island, Spain, Viet Nam ...)

Sunday, December 1st :

Arrival of partners on three different airports (Beauvais, Orly, Roissy)

Meeting hosting families at St Honorine School for students' accomodation.

Hotel accommodation for teachers.

Dinner at the Hotel at 9:00 p.m.
Monday, December 2nd :

Meeting at the Hotel: be ready to leave at 7:45 a.m.

10:30 a.m. Museum of the Middle Ages ( Thermes de Cluny)

12:00 a.m Sorbonne University, PhD room, amphitheaters, library, classrooms

2:30 p.m. Museum of the Luxembourg Palace (exhibition on the Renaissance and the Dream)

Tuesday, December 3th

Visit of St Honorine School

8:35-9:00 Students' tours to partner students in groups of four.

9:00-9:30 Guided tour of the school for partner teachers.

Activities 9:30-10:00 warming up for students:building confidence, knowing each other.

10:00-10:30 Welcome speech by the headmaster, with inspector and school directors.

Brief presentation of the different partner institutions
(Country, institution name, names of participants, function)

10:30-11:30 Presentation of the different cultural minorities living in France:

Why France has become a haven for different minorities (documentary film)

France, her Cultural openness and diversity.
11:30-12:00 Intervention of a specialist on Gipsy community.

12:00 to 12:30 Creation on the school yard: MURAL FRANCE , written in chalk on the ground of all colours and around, chains of all partner countries to symbolize the unity and diversity of our school.

Deployment of the European flag ..

12:30-1:30 Lunch at the school Dining Hall.

1:40-3:30. Some students attend classes, other groups are active in the Foyer room. . ( Workshops:creation of tricolor bracelets , christmas cards, decorations)
Meeting with the local authorities of Taverny:

1:40 -2 : 30 Walk in Taverny.

2.30-3:10 Appointment with the Mayor of Taverny ( headmasters and teachers only)

3 : 40 Back to school:Watch 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame', students and teachers.

Wednesday, December 4th

10: 00 State Council, Comédie Française (Official State Theater), Columns of Buren

11:00 Louvre Museum : indoor and outdoor presentation. (Photos in front of the Pyramid )

11:30 Visit the Louvre Museum: works of art hunt: formation of several small mixed teams

1:00- 2:30. Lunch and shopping if necessary. Tuileries gardens.

3:00 -3:30 Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral.

5:00 p.m. Back to school/ Hotel.

What are the Festivals and how they are celebrated in different countries?
What are the traditions, the meals and the music?

Christmas card contest.

10:00 Creation of the mural painting at school with the help of students .

1:30-4:00 Continuation of activities on Festivals

4 :00 Dance battle teachers versus students, in the dining Hall.

Saturday, December 7th
Great Intercultural Day

10:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.: School Dining Hall

Dances and Songs presented by multicultural students .

Students and teachers ( partner countries ' Karaoke: Christmas carols in their languages )

Tasting of festive food from different countries, with the participation of students and parents of St Honorine school .

12:00 p.m. students return with hosting families .

12:30-2:00 Lunch at school with the headmasters and teachers of partner countries .

Handing of mobility certificates.
Dinner at the hotel at 7:00
Sunday, December 8th:Departure Day.
Pick up students at school and departure to airports.
